SI Board and SI Dues Increase

At the recent SI Board in Rotterdam, the decision was taken to increase the SI Dues payable by each Member from £3.00 to £5.00 in 2019. This is the first increase in SI Dues for 21 years.

Annual Returns

Please be advised that the Annual Returns 2018 are sent to AACM Clubs on 1 February 2018 and to UK/RoI Clubs on 1 April 2018.

Please can you ensure that your Membership is as up to date as possible before the Returns are sent out, as this will make the process easier both for Clubs, as the Returns will not need updating and can be sent straight back with the payment, and for SIGBI HQ.

You can either send any Membership forms to SIGBI HQ by email or post (to arrive by end March for UK/RoI Clubs) and we will make the updates before sending the annual returns out, or you can make your Membership Changes online before 31 March 2017.  The user guide below explains how you can do this.  Thank you for your cooperation.:

Have you signed up for Gift Aid yet?

Club Presidents, Secretaries and Membership Officers can check which Members are/are not signed up for Gift Aid in the “Manage Directory” part of the website.

Click “Manage Directory” at the top of the LH menu, and click on “View Members”.  Those signed up for gift aid are clearly marked in your list of Members.

Other Members and Members from other Clubs will not be able to see if you are signed up for gift-aid.

Gift Aid forms are now also on the Our Charities page of the website

We have been asked by Clubs to make the Gift Aid forms more prominent on the website, so that they can find them to download for completion by their Members.  We have now added them to the Our Charities page on the public facing part of the website.  Please do ask your Members to complete the forms.  Club Secretaries and Membership Officers can check who has not yet completed a gift-aid form by going to the Members’ area of the website and checking the Manage Directory facility.  When you view your list of Members, coloured stars against their name shows you which Members have signed up for Gift Aid:
