SIGBI holds a General Meeting once a year, as part of the SIGBI Conference.
All members are entitled to attend free of charge, and each Club can nominate a voting delegate to vote on the Resolutions on behalf of the Club. If no member is attending from a Club, then they may ask a member from another Club to act as their proxy voter.
Please see below the voting accreditation letter and form, which needs to be returned to SIGBI HQ—email@example.com—no later than Friday 12 October 2018. Voting Delegates must be registered to attend the General Meeting, which is on Friday 26 October 2018—afternoon session. The session will start with a Programme Resolution and the Federation Project, both of which need to be voted on using the electronic voting system, and this will be followed immediately by the General Meeting. Delegates who have registered for Full Registration or Friday Day Delegate are automatically registered for the General Meeting, but you can register for the General Meeting Only if preferred. This is free of charge, and will include the Programme voting immediately before the General Meeting. If no one from your Club is attending the General Meeting, then act now to ensure that you have a proxy from another Club who is willing to vote on your Club’s behalf:
Please read the letter below from Gina Coad, paying particular attention to the information about your voting delegate:
