Grants of Friendship and other Invitations

Grant of Friendship – SI Region: Aotearoa New Zealand South

This grant is offered to a Soroptimist, two Soroptimists travelling together or a Soroptimist accompanied by her spouse or travelling companion. The hospitality is to be taken during March 2019 and the successful applicant is offered a maximum of 21 days home hosting among the Clubs of the Region.  See full details below:

The Soroptimist International Board Meeting will take place in Budapest from 15:30 on Friday 7 September 2018.

If you would like to attend as a silent observer then please read the invitation below, and note that responses should be sent to Zoe Shepherd at Soroptimist International— admin@soroptimistinternational.orgon or before 6 August 2018.

If you want to extend your stay, then you are cordially invited to the Charter of new Club SI Danubius, Budapest on 7– 9 September 2018—closing date for registration is 31 July 2018.  You do not have to attend the SI Board to register for the Charter:

 

SI Tunis Ariana 10th Anniversary

SI Tunis Ariana will celebrate their 10th Anniversary on 1-4 November 2018, and would love you to celebrate with them.

A full programme of activities has been planned, plus if you would like to stay longer there is also an option 4 day tour of South Tunisia available (5-8 November 2018).

Are you looking for Soroptimist contacts worldwide?

Then sign up and participate in the Exchange Program Open Heart – Open Door, an initiative of SI Europe.

This exchange program established in 1995 by Heidrun Konrad , president of SI of Europe 2003-2005 has proved to be successful. Today Soroptimists from all over the world are involved in this program.

Open Heart – Open Door (OHOD) programme offers five options:

  1. Home Hospitality: to one or two Soroptimists or a couple
  2. Contact Person: guide in one’s own town
  3. Exchange Visit: on a professional level
  4. Home-Exchange: You and your exchange partner will stay at each other’s homes for a certain period by mutual agreement
  5. Youth Exchange Programme for Young Relatives, e.g. daughter/son, niece/nephew, grandchild.
