Here are some initial questions to get us thinking:<br \/>\n\u2022 What do you see as the biggest threat facing us, as human beings?<br \/>\n\u2022 When did you become aware of environmental issues?<br \/>\n\u2022 What, if any, action have you taken to address climate change?<br \/>\n\u2022 How did you become involved with climate action? A big thanks to our main speaker Michael Archibald and all the attendees, especially, Angela Hulm from <a class=\"x1i10hfl xjbqb8w x6umtig x1b1mbwd xaqea5y xav7gou x9f619 x1ypdohk xt0psk2 xe8uvvx xdj266r x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r xexx8yu x4uap5 x18d9i69 xkhd6sd x16tdsg8 x1hl2dhg xggy1nq x1a2a7pz xt0b8zv x1qq9wsj xo1l8bm\" role=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/profile.php?id=100075791003021&amp;__cft__[0]=AZVwYJ0w3ja5dK0_3Jc3SNfpVoaS1EvSJMAKi3ThRJDHsHW7eFyI1Z4SXaKX1RLu_KY9PlrQx2wjap9f5PQrgpD0wgkR65JEKMLsUiA9ppWxQaenbSJSthUJJBu1T6qOY1jAOBjydEu0028axjNdzdSkUCz8ca6lEYdL774PcX4FiQ&amp;__tn__=-]K-R\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span class=\"xt0psk2\">Bromley Soroptimists<\/span><\/a>, for giving their precious time to this important topic of today&#8217;s age.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">The following were the thoughts shared by the attendees about what we could do for a sustainable future:<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\">\n<div dir=\"auto\"><strong>&#8220;<\/strong><em>I would like to see junk mail stopped! So much wasted paper, wasted printing, postage and time spent re-cycling it all.<\/em><strong>&#8220;<\/strong><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\">\n<div dir=\"auto\"><strong>&#8220;<\/strong><em>I&#8217;m conscious of my single use plastic use and trying to eliminate this where possible, by making \u2018planet friendly\u2019 choices. For sustainable future, if we can support community action and programmes to reduce consumption, and re-use, or recycle \/ upcyle items. Greener and cleaner shop in Bromley sounded like a great idea, shared by Angela Hulm.<\/em><strong>&#8220;<\/strong><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\">\n<div dir=\"auto\"><strong>&#8220;<\/strong><em>Urge the government to introduce a new law that will hold UK companies to account when their activities lead to human rights and environmental abuses.<\/em><strong>&#8220;<\/strong><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\">\n<div dir=\"auto\"><strong>&#8220;<\/strong><em>We cannot alone save the planet, but we can all make changes within our daily lives to contribute to the bigger effort.
