Congratulations Jane and SI Stourbridge. Thanks to all our very worthy candidates.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_media_grid element_width=&#8221;6&#8243; grid_id=&#8221;vc_gid:1590489495122-bf44f681c9b65c13fa972512b2f9765b-3&#8243; include=&#8221;4516,1683&#8243;][vc_empty_space][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Jane Clarke, Midland Arden Region Inspirational Woman Award Winner 2019,\u00a0 is presented with an engraved rose bowl by Chair of judges Carol Bailey SI Wolverhampton Midland Chase and President Jan Hemlin Midland Arden.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_single_image image=&#8221;1684&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221; alignment=&#8221;center&#8221;][vc_empty_space][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]President Jan Hemlin presented bouquets of Fairtrade roses to the three candidates present at the MAR Inspirational Woman Award.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_single_image image=&#8221;1685&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221; alignment=&#8221;center&#8221;][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]President Jan Hemlin is pictured here with Judges Margaret Aldroyd SI Nottingham Midland East Region, Sandra Tilley speaker from Mayor\u2019s Million Mentors, and Carol Bailey SI Wolverhampton Midland Chase Region.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Inspirational Woman 2017<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/sigbi.org\/midland-arden\/files\/2017\/06\/Catherine-Rowe.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-thumbnail wp-image-1175\" src=\"https:\/\/sigbi.org\/midland-arden\/files\/2017\/06\/Catherine-Rowe-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/sigbi.org\/midland-arden\/files\/2017\/06\/Debbie-Douglas.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-thumbnail wp-image-1162\" src=\"https:\/\/sigbi.org\/midland-arden\/files\/2017\/06\/Debbie-Douglas-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Catherine Rowe wins our Inspirational Woman of 2017 award.<\/p>\n<p>Pictured above is Catherine&#8217;s mother who accepted the award on behalf of her daughter, together with President Sharon from sponsoring Kenilworth club, President Jan, and Immediate Past-President Su.<\/p>\n<p>Catherine is a self-funded GOLD volunteer (guiding Overseas Linked with Development), who was chosen via an intensive selection process from Guiders throughout the UK.\u00a0 Through the GOLD project, Catherine is committed to helping girls in Oman enjoy the same freedoms to express themselves as their UK counterparts.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Coventry Club <\/strong>presented a Support Services Manager, working in a refuge, who helps support women and children who are fleeing and experiencing domestic violence and abuse.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Kidderminster Club <\/strong>presented a candidate who is CEO of the Nightstop Charity.\u00a0 This charity provides emergency 3-night accommodation for homeless young people through a range of support services.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rugby Club <\/strong>presented a candidate who raises awareness of organ donation (particularly childhood transplantation), supporting families struggling with a child in hospital post-transplant.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Solihull Club <\/strong>presented a candidate who is a volunteer of 12 years standing at the Breast Friends Solihull charity. She is devoted to helping women with breast cancer receive emotional and practical support.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Stourbridge Club <\/strong>presented a candidate, who is Head of Fundraising and Lottery at the Mary Stevens Hospice. She helps ensure sufficient funds are raised to provide the highest level of care to patients and their
