There are many issues that we in the UK would simply take for granted when children with cancer are being treated.\u00a0 However, these are much more problematic in Malawi.\u00a0 For example, completing courses of treatment such as chemotherapy and essential follow-up with patients can prove difficult, if not impossible.\u00a0 This is due partly to the understanding of parents and guardians and also the financial and other difficulties in travelling to and from the hospital when required.\u00a0 We thank you again for the generosity of your regional members and your support.&#8221;\u00a0 \u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.friendsofsickchildreninmalawi.org\/\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;color: #ff6600\">http:\/\/www.friendsofsickchildreninmalawi.org\/<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>News from Friends of Sick Children in Malawi!
