The menu included Beef tomato stew, cassava, green bananas, sweet potatoes with pineapple to follow. A donation of \u00a3132 will be sent to David Chaplin of Rwanda Aid\u00a0 who will be visiting Pembrokeshire this coming Spring to give a talk and to thank us for our continued support.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #33cccc\">Uniforms off to Rwanda<\/span><\/strong>[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=&#8221;537&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221; alignment=&#8221;center&#8221;][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]In September the uniforms changed for Hakin and Hubberston Schools in preparation for the opening of their new school in the new year. Local parent and daughter of one of our members wondered what would happen to all the outdated uniforms and remembering our link with the\u00a0 Ngwino Nawe School in Rwanda suggested that a collection could be arranged. As a result 178 t-shirts and 165 sweatshirts will be on their way to Rwanda by Christmas.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Joanne recently revisited Ngwino Nawe\u00a0school, taking with her some items donated by members. Baubles made from grasses, Angels with wings of banana leaves and Christmas stockings fashioned from traditional dress material.<\/p>\n<p>At Nigwino Nawe school a successful Training Day was held for parents of children with hearing loss. For the first time parents were able to communicate properly with their children.<\/p>\n<p>Milford Haven Club has established a link with a local teacher trainer, Joanna Doyne, currently working for VSO in this Special School in Rwanda. Joanna is the daughter of one\u00a0of our members.<\/p>\n<p>We had an enjoyable evening learning about the school and members donated educational toys.\u00a0An indian meal at a member\u2019s home raised funds to help build a resource room at the school.<\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=&#8221;144&#8243;
