Who are Soroptimist International Milton Keynes?\u00a0 We are:<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Vibrant, dynamic and like minded women inspiring action, transforming lives,<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
Working on global to local projects that help improve the lives of women and girls.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
We do this by helping to raise awareness to end violence against women and girls,<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
We empower women looking to escape or change abusive homes through supporting the preventative, practical advice provided by MK ACT (Women’s Refuge),<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
We enable women to put their lives on a new path by fundraising for the YMCA, and with projects including sanitary wear and clean start buckets<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
We distribute toiletries and sanitary wear to our linked charities<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
We fund research to support the work of Works for Us, helping local women back into the workplace,<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
We support homeless women and families to get back into accommodation and working life through the work carried out by Unity MK (previously The Winter Night Shelter MK).<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
We fundraise and support Soroptimist International Krakow and their work with Ukrainian refugees in Poland and we support the Ukraine Appeal to help the Ukraine refugees in Milton Keynes.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
