Friendship Evening – Learn about Islam

This is the first year we have held our Friendship Evening in September.

I am very excited about our speaker, Dr Mary Searle-Chatterjee, a retired anthropologist.

She and I met through our work with Lancaster and Morecambe City of Sanctuary,  helping at the English lessons for asylum seekers.

Her talk is entitled “Aspects of Islam – A Social Political Approach”.

All are welcome.  We will be having a bit of food; naturally there will be a raffle; and drinks, hot drinks and soft drinks are available at the bar.

It’s on Thursday 22nd September at Bare Village Club at 7.30 p.m.
