We have, as a club supported CWA Cheshire Without Abuse for many years, every Christmas we give presents to Women who, by necessity need too stay in the Refuge over the Festive period. This year we were thrilled to be able to raise £900 in addition for CWA at our Annual Quiz Night Event.

Each year we support Nantwich & Crewe at their Christmas lunches with £100 for each of the Events. Four Nantwich club members also helped serve the lunches on Christmas Day.

YMCA Crewe is a new charity to receive our support, and we were thrilled to raise £842 for their After School & Brunch club at our Bridge Drive in January 2018. Richard Holmes, Development Officer at YMCA Crewe says: “We try to get involved in children’s lives as early as possible. Those from disadvantaged backgrounds often don’t get enough food during the holiday periods so this is a fun way to provide for them”.
