Members of the club attended the morning session of the UKPAC Study Day on Domestic Violence.\u00a0 Unfortunately, the afternoon session was postponed until July 3rd because of Prince Philip’s funeral.<\/p>\n

Those attending were very impressed by Dame Sara Thornton D.B.E., Q.P.M.’s presentation which included current statistics and suggested ways in which Soroptimists could take action in the future.\u00a0 \u00a0(Dame Sara is the Independent Anti – Slavery Commissioner) Her presentation can be viewed in the YouTube link below.<\/p>\n
