What can we do?<\/span><\/h1>\n

In the current circumstances, charitable fund-raising event opportunities are limited when we can’t meet in person.\u00a0 Even the old standby of a raffle is difficult when we can’t sell the tickets!<\/p>\n

Enter the simple idea of a 100 Club. This is defined as a small society lottery in the Gambling Act 2005 and ours is registered with Lancaster City Council, registration number SL0014.<\/p>\n

What does it cost to join<\/span><\/h2>\n

Each number costs \u00a312.00 and is valid for 1 year from 1st January 2021. There is no limit to how many numbers each person\/club can buy, but if the total number application exceeds 100-multiple number requests will be limited. It will be possible to join mid-year with the cost per number being adjusted pro-rota (\u00a31 per month).<\/p>\n

What are the prizes?<\/span><\/h2>\n

The monthly prizes are \u00a315, \u00a310 and \u00a35.<\/p>\n

How do I join?<\/span><\/h2>\n

Please complete the application form<\/a> and send either by post with a cheque (or a completed Standing Order form<\/a>) or by email with confirmation that a bank transfer has been made. Confirmation of the allocation of number(s) will be emailed to applicants.
\nIf the 100 Club is oversubscribed, then a waiting list will be created and when this list reaches 50 a second 100 Club will be created or the existing club amended to be a 200 Club.<\/p>\n

Who can join?<\/span><\/h2>\n

Anyone aged 16 or over or numbers may be held in the name of individual clubs.<\/p>\n

Where and when will the draws take place?<\/span><\/h2>\n

Where possible at a Soroptimist Event commencing January 2021.<\/p>\n
