On Sunday 5th July six members of Northallerton and District Soroptimists took part in the Race for Life at York Racecourse. We joined the eighteen hundred runners, joggers and walkers participating in the event. The atmosphere was tremendous, everyone was so supportive. One of our members ran the 5k and the other five 5 walked the course. The weather supported us as it was it was overcast and not too hot. Between us we have raised over £700 for Cancer Research UK.
