COFFEE MORNING RAISES £335 FOR MERU GARDENS

Saturday 29th July was a dry morning after a spell of rain, so that we were able to sit outdoors as well as indoors at Mary Feighan’s home. We had been collecting ‘gently used’ scarves and jewellery which were to be sold, along with cakes and plants. We were also fortunate to have Evadney with us and she raised additional funds with her bonger bonger massages. Thanks to Marilyn and Linda, there was tea and coffee on tap, with a wonderful selection of home-made cakes. We were joined by Soroptimist friends from SI Derby and SI Mansfield, including a visitor from SI Zimbabwe who was delighted to be reunited with Margaret Oldroyd.
