[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]For a number of years, we have been providing a number of items to Nottingham’s Women’s Refuges. We currently support\u00a0Umuada,\u00a0Zola, POW and Broxtowe Refuge.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0The items we provide are:<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_single_image image=”307″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][vc_empty_space][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Welcome Packs: Basic toiletries and essentials for those who arrive with nothing.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Moving on Packs: Mops, buckets etc for those moving\u00a0from the refuge\u00a0into their own accommodation.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Food: Tins and packets kept at the refuge to help new arrivals.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In addition, over the years we have been able to undertake larger projects, such as provision of both indoor and garden furniture, a disabled-access shower,\u00a0and a summerhouse. Club members also helped to create an allotment at one of the refuges to help the women and children get involved with growing their own food.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_single_image image=”606″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][vc_empty_space][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Christmas is a particularly difficult time for the women and children at the refuges, so we provide what extra support we can at this time, such as presents and funds to buy food to throw a Christmas party.
