On her choice of topic Jorjah said &#8220;I look at how my 13 year old younger sister reacts to social media, as compared to myself not too long ago.\u00a0 The greater pressure is worrying<\/p>\n<p>Now the work has been selected by the members of Soroptimist International of Nottingham as their top piece of journalism created by students at the Centre for Broadcasting and Journalism at Nottingham Trent University.<a href=\"\/nottingham\/files\/2017\/07\/Student-Journalist-of-the-year-2017-Jorjah-Langstrom.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-942\" src=\"\/nottingham\/files\/2017\/07\/Student-Journalist-of-the-year-2017-Jorjah-Langstrom-300x168.jpg\" alt=\"Student Journalist of the year 2017 Jorjah Langstrom\" width=\"300\" height=\"168\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sigbi.org\/nottingham\/files\/2017\/07\/Student-Journalist-of-the-year-2017-Jorjah-Langstrom-300x168.jpg 300w, https:\/\/sigbi.org\/nottingham\/files\/2017\/07\/Student-Journalist-of-the-year-2017-Jorjah-Langstrom-768x431.jpg 768w, https:\/\/sigbi.org\/nottingham\/files\/2017\/07\/Student-Journalist-of-the-year-2017-Jorjah-Langstrom.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>This is the fifth year SI of Nottingham has awarded a prize to a student journalist for a 3<sup>rd<\/sup> year project raising awareness of women&#8217;s issues in the media. This adds to the Soroptimist&#8217;s goal of enabling women and girls to achieve their potential.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Audrey Jones, Publicity Officer of the Soroptimist International of Nottingham said: &#8220;This was an excellent project, looking at the problem from various viewpoints.
