The Simon Community are working to combat the causes and effects of homelessness. Their vision is that everyone should have a safe place to live and access to the support they need.
Everything they do is about and for people: the people they support, their staff, their partners and everyone affected by homelessness.
Their values are built into every area of activity and tell the story of how people remain at the heart of the Simon Community
The club are supporting their work this year as part of its focus on homelessness. Members are putting together care bags containing toiletries, sanitary pads, pants and basic health care products to be given to some of the people they work with. Brand new satchels and handbags were donated by a club member and will be given to women – for some of them it might be the first new handbag they have ever owned.
