Abuse takes many forms, including physical violence, coercive control, emotional abuse, sexual harassment and online intimidation.<\/p>\n<p>With a woman killed by a man approximately every three days in the UK, Soroptimists stressed the urgent need for greater awareness, education and action to tackle gender-based violence.<\/p>\n<p>Through their public demonstration, Perth Soroptimists reaffirmed their commitment to promoting equality, protecting women&#8217;s rights and supporting a society free from violence and fear.<\/p>\n<p>Their message was clear: Women and girls deserve to feel safe everywhere \u2014 at home, in public, at work and online. Everywhere.
