Our Work<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

Clubs choose projects to work on that tackle one of the five Programme Areas identified by Soroptimist International:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 Economic Empowerment<\/span>
\n \u2022 Education<\/span>
\n \u2022 Environmental Sustainability<\/span>
\n \u2022 Food Security and Healthcare<\/span>
\n \u2022 Violence and Conflict Resolution<\/span><\/p>\n

All our work is linked to the Sustainable Development Goals whether it\u2019s local<\/strong>, national<\/strong> or international<\/strong>. We celebrate international Women’s Day each year on 8th March.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

All projects work towards ending poverty, eradicating hunger, providing education for all and preserving the environment.<\/span><\/p>\n

Between 25th November and 10th December each year we observe 16 Days of Action – Elimination of Violence Against Women and Girls leading up to Human Rights Day on 10th December.<\/span><\/p>\n

2024\u00a0 –\u00a0 To raise awareness it is planned to distribute posters in shop windows and arrange for buildings to be lit up in “Orange” in the towns of Rhyl and Abergele<\/span><\/p>\n
