\u201cBring Back the Bees\u201d\u00a0 –\u00a0 \u00a0Environment and Education<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

A project to raise awareness of the significant role that bees play in our everyday lives<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  • The Project was launched over 10 years ago and we have visited schools across the counties of Flintshire, Denbighshire and Conwy.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • The purpose was to communicate the important role that bees play in our everyday life, through a variety of workshops, including honey tasting, candle making and worksheets.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • A wide range of books and learning materials about bees were given to each school so that the teachers can continue to use them in the classroom.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Well over 1,200 children have been made more aware of the importance of bees.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • The \u201cBee\u201d team have worked hard to promote sustainability of the environment and educate children that without bees much of the produce and food we enjoy would not be obtainable.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • We have also given talks to women\u2019s groups and attended several country fairs including the well known Honey Fair in Conwy.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
