Today is A Room of One’s Own Day, from Virginia Woolf’s assertion that in order to write successfully, one needs a room of one’s own. The day is for anyone who knows or longs for the sheer bliss or rightness of having a private place, no matter how humble, to call one’s own.
If you can, have some quiet time today. You, a good book, a cup of tea, no distractions. Maybe even write a little.
