The Festival is staged by partners \u2018Rotary\u2019 as part of the community voluntary sector for the Festival.<\/p>\n<p>Throughout the year all club members collect Teddies and Soft toys for the Teddy Tombola Event, these are washed ready for the stall \u2013 pictured here Teddies hanging out to dry. Members of the club man the stall throughout the day.<\/p>\n<p>Our club runs the Tombola in aid of our local hospice \u2018<strong>Halton Haven\u2019.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Here are the teddies waiting to be numbered ready to go to Festival in The Park in Frodsham the next day, and getting excited about being on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/hashtag\/soroptimist?__eep__=6&amp;__cft__%5B0%5D=AZUQBwmdEFgFwWLhcJySaJ7WBmVhm_QDIR9g0DDi9QhZ69vakbeUE6Jrj-YgIufem-KHG9m3lv7ZtHTM2IV_yw_z5S3-fqkLyEJNh8F1r5SVZFfVdtRelGi6qj1TByfSVttjfR_P9shmBjalXMvK_xSN-9HNrY5zkUMb9PuGva93pVIZOtLKbeAAVIwHrD_z7KAjfwQSaZUnmyYyhVrDyNWy&amp;__tn__=*NK-R\">#Soroptimist<\/a> Tombola stall raising funds for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.haltonhaven.org.uk\">Halton Haven<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Every number is a winner, and the teddies are wondering where their new homes will be?! Huge thanks to all who have donated their pre-loved \u2018teddies\u2019 \u2013 they will all be going to a good home.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The BIG day has arrived, the stall is set out &#8211; our organising team is having a last minute rest before the event begins, and here are some of the lovely cuddly toys ready to be won at our stall at the Festival.<\/p>\n<p>The rain has stopped and the sun has come out and the teddies are getting together to celebrate with \u2018A Teddy Bears Picnic, before they go to their new homes, as \u2018EVERY CHILD IS A WINNER\u2019<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/sigbi.org\/runcorn-frodsham-and-district\/files\/2024\/08\/Teddy-Bears-Picnic-before-the-start.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-4953\" src=\"https:\/\/sigbi.org\/runcorn-frodsham-and-district\/files\/2024\/08\/Teddy-Bears-Picnic-before-the-start-300x203.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"203\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sigbi.org\/runcorn-frodsham-and-district\/files\/2024\/08\/Teddy-Bears-Picnic-before-the-start-300x203.jpg 300w, https:\/\/sigbi.org\/runcorn-frodsham-and-district\/files\/2024\/08\/Teddy-Bears-Picnic-before-the-start.jpg 640w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>Children particularly enjoy our stall and certainly come back again each year, as our members say:\u00a0\u201cthe expressions of wonder and love on the children\u2019s faces stay with you as they leave hugging their new friend\u201d \u2013 just one of the many reasons why the club has supported this event for the last 14 years.
