Making a stay in hospital a happier experience
Members of Salisbury Soroptimists have been collecting and donating toiletry items for women such as shampoo, soap, shower gel, deodorant, body lotion, flannel, comb, toothbrush and toothpaste and making them into individual bags suitable for an overnight stay in hospital. Recently another supply of 30 of these bags was delivered to the Durrington Ward of Salisbury District Hospital, where they are provided to women who find they need to stay overnight unexpectedly due to an over-running procedure or for observation. We do hope they make an overnight stay in hospital a happier and more pleasant experience! We are happy to take donated items but please note they should be small (single use) items and unused. Please contact us if you would like to help.
