Girls and women who play sports have higher levels of confidence and self-esteem. As such we wish to play a more active role in supporting women and girls who participate in sports especially at a professional level.<\/p>\n<p>When the club was approached to support Annia Noel, a talented female student and National Football player of humble beginnings in her effort to take up a partial academic and sport scholarship in Eastern Oklahoma State College, the club jumped at the opportunity.<\/p>\n<p>Through our endorsement we were able to mobilize support for her GoFundMe page, which surpassed its target amount, as well as help her secure a US visa. Additionally the club sponsored the cost of her ticket to fly to the United States of America.<\/p>\n<p>Members also gave her personal donations which included monetary contributions, new football shoes and socks, new clothing, suitcases and a new backpack. Furthermore we continue to be in contact with Ms Noel to provide her with moral support and encouragement as she pursues her bright future.<\/p>\n<p>SDG 8, 4<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\"
