Orange Café July 2025

In 2008 the United Nations General secretary the campaign UNiTE by 2030 to End Violence against Women. The signature colour chosen for this momentous event is orange – a colour which embodies the bright and optimistic future we are working to create.

In support of this campaign Soroptimist International Scarborough, Malton and District adopted the concept of Orange Café’s, the aim of which is to create awareness and promote the dedicated work that Soroptimist International does locally, nationally and internationally to help improve the lives of women and girls. All this being undertaken by a dedicated team of volunteers.

If you would like to know more about this amazing campaign and the work we do, you are welcome to join us at The Coffee Shed on 25th July 2025 between 10.30-12.00. The address is: 7 Murray Street YO14 9DA. Parking is available at the nearby TESCO and off street parking may also be available.
