Welcome to SI Scotland North<\/h2>\n

Scotland North Region includes clubs in Aberdeen, Perth, Crieff, Easter Ross, Inverness & Nairn. We have four regional meetings per year and these meetings provide an opportunity for club members to meet fellow Soroptimists from other areas and share ideas.<\/p>\n

We are part of Soroptimists International global volunteer movement working to transform the lives of women and girls through a network of over 72,000 club members in 121 countries and territories worldwide.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

There are five Federations; Soroptimist International of the Americas, Soroptimist International of Great Britain & Ireland (SIGBI) Europe, \u00a0Soroptimist International of South West Pacific, and Soroptimist International African Federation<\/p>\n

United Nations<\/strong><\/p>\n

Soroptimist International (SI) and SIGBI both have consultative status at the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) at the United Nations (UN), which gives us a voice on important discussion papers, and allows us to attend the Commission on the Status of Women in New York each March, and contribute to the \u201cAgreed Conclusions\u201d. This status would not be possible without the fantastic work being done by our Members.<\/p>\n
