Members, husbands and friends celebrating 33rd Charter Dinner of SI SELBY
Lots of members, husbands, partners and friends from other Yorkshire clubs enjoyed a superb evening of good food, conversation, laughter and company at the Oaks Golf Club celebrating their 33rd Charter Dinner. Good evening was had by all.
Helping with children’s literacy festival held in Selby Abbey
A few members helped as stewards at the Children’s Literacy Festival. Organised by Christina Gabbitas a local children’s author.
In May members visited Askham Grange (Open Prison)Coffee Shop & Garden centre.
It was a very worthwhile visit lots of plants were bought and coffee and cake enjoyed, the weather was kind with the sun shining on them
Friendship Link – Frankenthal visit
A visit by Maria in July of SI FRANKENTHAL gave members the opportunity for a few more celebrations. Beginning with an afternoon tea to welcome Maria, then Yorkshire Tapas at Hilary’s, followed by a conducted tour around Selby by Ian and Judith then coffee and cake – and more to come off to York for more history, a rest then to Queen of Tow’d Thatch for a lovely evening get together.
