Supporting  MIN (Mums in Nead) Congratulations to our three Share Our Skills (SOS) girls from King Edwards School (KES) They successfully planned, publicised and organised a 'bun sale' at the school raising £138.00 Mums in Need.  The items sold included their delicious mini lollies. Thanks

Supporting Water Aid Who would have expected that the history of drinking water could be both absorbing and amusing. Jennifer Stephenson, a local doctor, has researched her subject thoroughly, written and self published books to raise money for Water Aid. Her talk included several examples

Mums in Need kindly invited our members to their coffee meeting which both President Daphne and President Elect Sue were delighted to attend.   SIGBI Sheffield contributed some raffle prizes.

The March Business meeting included our recognition of International Women's Day. Members wore purple and recounted stories of women who had inspired them. Not surprisingly mothers ranked high.

In Aid of SI Karachi. Farah's annual Curry Night was, as usual, a popular and successful evening. Thanks and congratulations to Farah and friends for such delightful food.

We met at the Sportsman at Crosspool where everyone enjoyed the good company and food. A highlight was Jackie's distribution of favours - a nod to Valentine's day.
