The girls had a constructive conversation with the Lord Mayor who showed her interest in their future ambitions.<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]\"\"<\/a>[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column el_class=”Box7″][vc_column_text]14\/03\/26 Si Sheffield- 98th Charter Lunch <\/strong><\/span>[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”4px”][vc_column_text]At the 98th Charter Lunch our members enjoyed socialising with attendees from other Soroptimist branches and our guests; the Mayor, the Master and Mistress Cutler, Yorkshire President and Susie Westwood. Thanks too all those who organised and those who stewarded it on the day.<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]\"\"<\/a>[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column el_class=”Box7″][vc_column_text]09\/03\/26 Eid Presents.<\/strong><\/span>[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”4px”][vc_column_text]Thanks to Farah and friends for preparing E presents to be delivered to the refuge.<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]\"\"<\/a>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column el_class=”Box7″][vc_column_text]20\/01\/26 Farah’s Marsala Night<\/strong><\/span>[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”16px”][vc_empty_space height=”16px”][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”2\/3″][vc_column_text]Farah’s supper evening was a resounding success. Over thirty people enjoyed a great evening with good company and outstanding food.<\/p>\n

\u00a31195.00 was raised which\u00a0 will be used to assist a lady desperate for a house. She was married off at an early age to a man both blind and mute. She also has a teenage daughter.<\/p>\n

Next came the amusement – quizzes prepared by Ann and Daphne who also organised the whole event. Special thanks to Jackie for the chocolate favours.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1\/2″][vc_column_text]\"\"<\/a>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_empty_space height=”6px”][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column el_class=”Box7″][vc_column_text]01\/12\/25 Sheffield Cathedral Christmas Tree Festival<\/span><\/strong>[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”16px”][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1\/2″][vc_column_text]Daphne, Sue and Wendy did a great job decorating our Christmas Tree. An orange theme was chosen as the tree was decorated on the seventh day of the sixteen days of activism against gender-base violence.<\/p>\n
