Welcome to SI Skipton-in-Craven<\/h2>\n

Soroptimist International is a global volunteer movement working together to transform the lives of women and girls through service projects, fundraising and advocacy. There are nearly 80,000 Members in 124 countries.<\/p>\n

Soroptimists strive for:<\/h4>\n

The advancement of the status of women
\nHigh ethical standards
\nHuman rights for all
\nEquality, development and peace
\nThe advancement of international understanding, goodwill and peace<\/p>\n

Soroptimist International Skipton-in-Craven, is part of Soroptimist International Great Britain and Ireland (SIGBI).\u00a0 SIGBI members work at a local, national and international level to educate, empower and enable opportunities for women and girls.<\/p>\n

Our club was founded in 1949. We are women who want to make a difference and who care about the issues which affect women and girls.<\/p>\n

We have the luxury of our own\u00a0club-room where we meet twice a month on a Monday evening at 7.30pm.\u00a0 One meeting is for business and the other for speakers and\/or events.<\/p>\n
