Together they raised \u00a32,191.34 for the North West Air Ambulance.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">Delighted with their own achievement &#8211; <a title=\"link to skydive\" href=\"https:\/\/sigbi.org\/south-lancashire\/2013\/07\/31\/skydiving-soroptimists\/\">skydiving<\/a> from 15,000 feet &#8211; they were nevertheless quick to thank their fellow Soroptimists in South Lancashire. <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: small\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">A huge amount of sponsorship came from members of\u00a0local clubs throughout the region.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">The cheque presentation took place alongside one of the charity&#8217;s bright yellow helicopters. The\u00a0<a title=\"link to north west air ambulance\" href=\"https:\/\/nwaa.net\/about-us\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">North West Air Ambulance<\/a>\u00a0needs over \u00a34million annually\u00a0to maintain\u00a0its two\u00a0aircraft in readiness 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
