Any Soroptimist getting married is a cause for celebration in her club; but when it\u2019s your Immediate Past President (IPP), it\u2019s something else again! <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Eleanor Reakes (President of SI Stockport and District<\/a>) therefore decided to organise a \u2018surprise\u2019 bridal shower for IPP Ingrid Whiteman to celebrate her forthcoming wedding. Regional President Margaret was invited as the club\u2019s special guest.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

To say that Ingrid was speechless to be faced by a group of club members wearing \u2018wedding hats\u2019 is an understatement. She thought she was going for coffee with a friend!<\/em><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

A wonderful evening was enjoyed by all. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
