Seventy Soroptimists from South Lancashire attended the 83<\/span>rd<\/span><\/sup><\/span> Federation Conference<\/a> of Soroptimist International, Great Britain & Ireland.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Soroptimist conferences are a heady mix of concentration, information, conversation and celebration \u2013 with retail therapy, friendship and fun adding to the experience. ‘Step Up, Lead the Way’ in Cardiff 2017 was no exception.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

At the change of insignia event, Margaret Molyneux (SI Leigh & District) stepped down after a packed and positive year as South Lancashire\u2019s Regional President. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201c<\/span><\/span>It has been a pleasure, an honour and a privilege to serve the Region<\/span>\u201d, she said.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Taking over the reins (and the chain) is Margaret Davies (SI Southport). Her theme for the year – \u2018Reach Out\u2019.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
