[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]\"\"<\/a>It has been an honour and a privilege to be your Regional President, I have enjoyed every minute of it, the year has certainly flown by!<\/p>\n

I enjoyed all of your Charter events but only managed to get to a few Club events and meetings, so, as I look forward to my year as Immediate Past President, I would like to visit as many Clubs as possible, gathering information and spreading ideas for Phase 3 of our Growth Plan. The more members we have, the more we can achieve!<\/p>\n

As I came out of office, Federation asked for my \u2018proudest achievement\u2019, I chose being included in \u2018100 Women 100 Stories\u2019 to showcase Soroptimism. I have now been asked to be a judge for the \u2018She Inspires Awards\u2019 by the founder Gulnaz Brennan and I look forward to working with Naz, watching and learning how to raise our profile in the North West.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s celebrate our achievements and make everybody aware of what an awesome group of women we are!!<\/p>\n

\nSadly, my year accompanying the Regional President to Club events is over.
\nI\u2019ve learned so many things in that time and I was so impressed at every club I’ve attended by the dedication of members to the many projects and causes which they support. I know that the efforts of every member can make a real difference to the lives of young girls and women around the world.
\nFinally, thank you to all the clubs in the region for inviting me to their events – I have been wonderfully received by all and talked to so many interesting people – it has been a real pleasure to attend.<\/p>\n
