{"id":6111,"date":"2025-02-18T15:46:46","date_gmt":"2025-02-18T15:46:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sigbi.org\/southern-england\/?p=6111"},"modified":"2025-02-18T15:46:46","modified_gmt":"2025-02-18T15:46:46","slug":"outline-agenda-for-march-regional-meeting","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sigbi.org\/southern-england\/2025\/02\/18\/outline-agenda-for-march-regional-meeting\/","title":{"rendered":"Outline agenda for March regional meeting"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>SI Surrey Hills will be hosting the March regional meeting at Milford Village Hall, <strong>GU8 5DG<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.milfordvillagehall.org.uk\/\">https:\/\/www.milfordvillagehall.org.uk\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Milford Village Hall is less than a mile from the Elstead\/Milford junction of the A3, just south of Guildford.\u00a0 Coming from the south it is the first major junction after the tunnel, from the north if you have gone through the tunnel you missed it!\u00a0 The entrance is on the right coming from the A3, opposite Secretts Farm Shop.\u00a0 At the back of the building there is a large car park able to accommodate over 50 cars.\u00a0 Access to the hall is by steps and a ramp and the hall is equipped with a hearing loop.<\/p>\n<p>Outline agenda for the day:<\/p>\n<p>0930-1000 Arrival and tea\/coffee made by members of SI Surrey Hills<\/p>\n<p>1000-1100 Regional Council meeting (&#8216;Ask the RMT&#8217;) and session on &#8216;What do you want from region?&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>1100-(ish) Coffee break<\/p>\n<p>1130-1230 Club Programme Action presentations (5-6 mins each)<\/p>\n<p>1245-(ish) Lunch, with sandwiches (platters from M&amp;S or similar, vegetarian and non-vegetarian only) and a bowl of borscht which is being made by the Ukrainian ladies.<\/p>\n<p>1330-(ish) Presentation from the Ukrainian women of Godalming, telling us stories of women&#8217;s lives in Ukraine today<\/p>\n<p>1430-(ish) Report from SI Epsom\/SI Lviv on work giving support to Ukraine<\/p>\n<p>1545-(ish) Carriages.<\/p>\n<p>Visitors are welcome from 1100 onwards.<\/p>\n<p>There is ample space around the hall for tables, so clubs may bring a presentation if they wish.\u00a0 A recycling table will be included (list of items to be issued shortly).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>SI Surrey Hills will be hosting the March regional meeting at Milford Village Hall, GU8&#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":863,"featured_media":6110,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[115],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-6111","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-regional-news"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v25.4 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/wordpress\/plugins\/seo\/ -->\n<title>Outline agenda for March regional meeting | News | Blog | Events | SI Southern England<\/title>\n<meta name=\"description\" content=\"SI Southern England : Blog &amp; News : Outline agenda for March regional meeting : Keep up to date with the latest news, articles and events from the Soroptimists of SI Southern England .
