Some sites have been more successful than others and we are very grateful to Creative Hub in Cambridge Arcade, Holy Trinity Church and the One Vision Housing Complex \u2018Mill Spring Court\u2019 in Bootle.<\/p>\n<p>Many of the sites are happy to \u2018host\u2019 again for us next year and some sites are happy to keep their \u2018banks\u2019 for the time being.<\/p>\n<p>New sites have come on board which is also heartening. Currently there are \u2018banks\u2019 at:-<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Baverstock House &#8211; in our Club Room<\/li>\n<li>Mandela Yoga<\/li>\n<li>Holy Trinity Church<\/li>\n<li>Creative Hub<\/li>\n<li>SDC<\/li>\n<li>Bistro Pierre<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>SI President Carol Cookson met with the four \u2018Pink Ladies\u2019 from Stanley High School along with Cathy Rae, their head of Leadership.\u00a0 There are lots of ideas buzzing around, with the intention of involving the whole school in fund raising activities alongside the collection of bras.\u00a0 The \u2018ladies\u2019 are planning a series of assemblies and awareness raising events in January coinciding with World Cancer Day.\u00a0 Against Breast Cancer will be assisting with assorted publicity materials.<br \/>\nWe are hoping that this association with Stanley High School will continue over many years.\u00a0 We are really proud to be part of the project with them.\u00a0 These young ladies are our future and already embracing the values of Soroptimists.<\/p>\n<p>Thank you to everyone who has supported this campaign \u2013 please continue to do so and please continue to spread the word amongst family, friends and networks.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Our Bra Bank project is still in full swing.
