The Club started the new Club Year in style with a celebration of the Club\u2019s 58th Anniversary following the AGM at \u201cThe Cricketers\u201d in Redbourn.\u00a0\"72-New<\/p>\n

It was lovely to be able to start the event by welcoming new Member Alka Cashyap to the Club. Alka is pictured here receiving the hand of friendship from\u00a0President Denise Powell.<\/p>\n

We also had Regional Presidents Rita Beaumont and Pauline Panter as guests of honour for the evening (they are pictured on the left either side of President Denise on the front row). The other Members in this picure – Helen, Janet, Jennie, Madeline, Hilary and Joan are all celebrating “special” birthdays that they have had during the year.<\/p>\n

We ended the 58th Anniversary by demolishing the celebration cake in true Soroptimist fashion!<\/p>\n
