Sarah Lichman and Jane Slatter sold raffle tickets (seen pictured here withe Hope the Hippo &#8211; the Home-Start mascot). Debbie Tankard, Bev Keech and Kat Clark were needed as marshalls helping with managing the event.<\/p>\n<p>Please see the messages below that show how much Soroptimists&#8217; support is appreciated.<\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><b>Liz Le Coze, Home-Start Herts <\/b><b>Strategic Manager <\/b>sent her thanks to all the Soroptimists who helped. She said:<\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">&#8220;Firstly, I wanted to let Barbara and <span class=\"markjq4j8akdh\" data-markjs=\"true\" data-ogac=\"\" data-ogab=\"\" data-ogsc=\"\" data-ogsb=\"\">Gill<\/span> know that thanks to your flyer delivery we have picked up more teams \u2013 new teams who haven\u2019t entered before \u2013 and an extra sponsor from a company based on Holywell Hill which is an area you covered. Thank you so much for your efforts that contributed towards this! I am sure that spreading the word through personally delivering the\u00a0<span class=\"markiul3gyppo\" data-markjs=\"true\" data-ogac=\"\" data-ogab=\"\" data-ogsc=\"\" data-ogsb=\"\">leaflets<\/span> will also encourage people to attend on the day too.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">&#8220;Thank you so much for all your help on Tuesday at the St Albans Pancake Festival. You were all fabulous and definitely helped contribute towards the success of the event! We have had some great feedback about the day and overall we raised a fantastic \u00a34,400 which is more than we expected. The raffle proved very popular and I am sure this is down to the super raffle ticket sellers that we had \u2013 thank you so much!
