On Monday 11 September we held our inaugural meeting at our new Club Venue – Cottonmill Community and Cycling Centre<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0 12 Old Oak, Cottonmill Lane, St Albans AL1 2EF.<\/p>\n

You can see from the photos what a lovely room we are booked to meet in now (2nd Monday of most months – always check the programme for details – https:\/\/sigbi.org\/st-albans-and-district\/club-programme\/<\/a>), and we had lots of positive feedback. Being September many of our Members were away, and often meetings with smaller numbers are more intimate so the group really enjoyed a evening together to catch up after the summer break.<\/p>\n

\"SISTA<\/a>Sarah, Jean, Janet and Denise reported back enthusiastically about their experiences at the Soroptimist International Convention in Dublin in July – click here to read more\u00a0 https:\/\/sigbi.org\/st-albans-and-district\/2023\/dublin\/<\/a> Barbara and Sarah are pictured here holding up our “Orange the World Project” poster that was on display in the exhibition centre in Dublin, and which had received a lot of attention from delegates attending from around the world.<\/p>\n
