Tim Leslie explained how Kiva loans work. We learnt that The Olive Branch foundation used our donation to purchase school uniforms for 6 kenyan schoolgirls.The sponsored walk finally happened. At the AGM the 31st educational bursary cheque was given to Kiera Bird who is studying Adult Nursing. \u00a0Certificates were presented to Jenny and Pam. Filled shoe boxes were handed over to Carefree. \u00a0At the end of the month the New Presidents supper evening took place at Charlestown Church Hall, Liz from Kernow Young Carers spoke about the 1000 young people registered wth them and how they help them. Julie from St Austell Brewery gave us a beer tasting session, each one accompanied by an appropriate nibble.
