Mary, Jean Ann and Wendy took part in the Truro Race for Life. Julie &amp; Pat organised a Treasure Hunt around Charlestown with supper afterwards at Porthpean Golf Club. Poppy Bees and Melia Buscombe of Pondhu School received the Carol Jennings Awards for service to fellow pupils, presented by President Sandra<\/p>\n<p>Our Founder President Marjorie Hutchison sadly passed away this month at 94, she had led a very full life and been a very active inspirational Soroptimist both here in Cornwall and her beloved Yorkshire.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Emily attended our club meeting.
