We had a wonderful time at our Literary Dinner. The three authors below described their journeys to becoming published authors, with all the pain and emotions the road to success demanded

 

 

 

 

 

 

Gillian McAllister A Birmingham solicitor who now works part time so that she can devote more time to writing legal crime novels

 

Ken Preston Author of the Joe Coffin series of British crime and vampire horror books. His short stories have been adapted for radio and published in ‘My Weekly’. Ken also writes for the young adult market and teaches creative writing to teenagers and adults

 

Aaron Wilkes Aaron started his working life as a teacher of History. He saw a gap in the availability of good teaching materials and is now OUP’s best-selling writer of children’s school History textbooks
