Benjamin Clifford of Surfability
We were delighted to hear Ben speak about the way he has been able to bring surfing to people who would not be abe to do it normally. He is a winner of the Pride of Britain Award. Ben, an “inspirational surfer, gives people with disabilities the chance to experience the joy of the sport at world-leading surf school”. Read about and see more pictures on his website. A small cheque was given to him after his after dinner talk.
Members thoroughly enjoyed watching the young people enjoying themselves carefully managed by a group of skilled surfers.
