What are Swansea Soroptimist Members doing to help Swansea Women’s Aid?
We continue to take items to Swansea Women’s Aid for their Safe houses and despite Coronavirus we are still active.
What do they need?
All sorts of things to make life more bearable
This time we sent toiletries, towels, blankets, clothing, stationary, note books, pencils and pens, beads and sewing items for the mothers and older children.
Is it just women that you help?
No, they often have children with them and sometimes they have had to leave the family home with no possessions, just what they are wearing. They need baby and children’s clothes as well as play things and toys. This time we sent baby grows, toys, crayons, rubbers, pencil sharpeners, colouring books, and a couple of girl’s craft making items.
What can I do to help?
