Swansea Club are saddened to announce the death in February 2012 of Mrs Barbara Rees, Club President in 1979/80. She continued to support the club during this past year when her daughter in law, Amanda Rees, became the current President.

SI Swansea have had their first fund raising event which raised over £200 for our Cape Verde student, Helga Gomez, hosted at the home of Dr Anne Norton . Thanks to Anne and all who attended this rewarding morning event.

Cape Verde Sponsorship SI Swansea is pleased to announce they will be supporting the education of Helga Gomez in Cape Verde over the next few years. We were delighted to receive her photo and an introductory letter recently and look forward to receiving more news soon.  

SI Swansea are pleased to announce that next year’s Presidency 2013-2014 will be shared between Carol Davies, Janet Vine and Jane Giles. Each of these will be responsible for 4 months of the year and wear the club’s Chain of Office at meetings and official events during their period of office.
