We are a lively, friendly and active group of professional and business  women who use our various skills and talents to make a difference to the lives of others through lobbying, awareness-raising, practical help and fundraising.

We are proud to be the oldest club worldwide and in 2010 celebrated our 90th year of service .  In May 1920 the first service club in the world for women was founded in Bristol following an initiative of the Rotary Club of Bristol.

The projects which the Bristol Club undertake are numerous and can be as diverse in size and scope as helping local communities, raising awareness of drug education, breast cancer and eliminating violence and trafficking against women.

This year, the priority theme of our work will be towards the empowerment of rural women and their role in poverty and hunger eradication, development and current challenges.

At the same time our members enjoy the opportunities to form friendships with other members within their own Club as well as in their own country and throughout the world.

What members worldwide have in common is that they give service, are totally committed to help others, form friendships and have fun!

Please get in touch and come and meet us.  You can be sure of a very warm welcome!
