St Austell & District is the only club in Cornwall, chartered in 1978.
We have over 40 members from the mid Cornwall area and also 2 linked members.
We are well supported in our projects by our families, friends, other service clubs and the wider local community.
We lobbied for the provision of a family interview room at the police station and the provision of a second Women’s Refuge in the county. We support the Women’s and Men’s Refuges. We have close links with both Little Harbour the Children’s Hospice at Porthpean and the MS Merlin Centre.
We are proud of our annual Bursary scheme, through which we have made financial gifts to 32 local young women to support their further education.
Recently we have supported The Invictus Trust, a local young person’s Mental Health charity, Kernow Young Carers and the Red Box scheme that supplies free sanitary products to local schoolgirls.
