Swimathon Co-ordinator, Christine Briggs, welcomed all winning team members and friends and charity representatives. She announced the total raised this year was \u00a315,736.01. However, there was prolonged applause when Christine mentioned that over its 27 year history the grand total raised by the Swimathon is \u00a3577,155.09!<\/p>\n<p>Joint Presidents, Kate Goodwin and Sally Williams presented the trophies to the winning team members and a cheque for \u00a33,934 to each of the charity representatives.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ann Lee from St Margaret\u2019s Somerset Hospice<\/li>\n<li>Wendy O&#8217;Carroll from Ups and Downs Southwest<\/li>\n<li>Lesley Mackay from Benchmark<\/li>\n<li>Luke Simon from School in a Bag<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Taunton Mayor, Dave
