She announced the total raised this year was \u00a320,189.49. However, there was prolonged applause when Christine mentioned that over its\u00a030 year history the grand total raised by the Swimathon is just over \u00a3631,440!<\/p>\n<p>The Taunton Mayor, Hazel Prior-Sankey, presented the trophies to the winning team members.\u00a0 Among these were\u00a0our own Soroptimist Swans as the team who raised the most sponsorship money &#8211; over \u00a31,100.\u00a0 The Mayor also presented\u00a0the cheques to each of the charity representatives.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Sue Weightman, Project Manager,\u00a0Taunton Foodbank<\/li>\n<li>Andrew Pritchard, CEO,\u00a0Mind in Taunton &amp; South West<\/li>\n<li>Joy Milliken, Clinical Director,\u00a0St Margaret&#8217;s Hospice<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_media_grid grid_id=&#8221;vc_gid:1596727284211-0008dc267313cef7c817a5fdff9948bd-8&#8243;
