She announced the total raised this year was \u00a319,234.15. However, there was prolonged applause when Christine mentioned that over its\u00a031 year history the grand total raised by the Swimathon is just over \u00a3650,520!<\/p>\n<p>The Taunton Deputy Mayor, Francesca Smith, presented the trophies to the winning team members.\u00a0 Among these were\u00a0our own Soroptimist Swans as the team who raised the most sponsorship money &#8211; \u00a3951.\u00a0 The Deputy Mayor also presented\u00a0the cheques to each of the charity representatives.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bella Flood, Chair of Trustees Somerset Sight<\/li>\n<li>Jon Shoesmith, CEO Citizens Advice
